Being one of my first "stress bakes" during the COVID pandemic, almond croissant blondies soon became a staple in our household.
Immediately, my parents and brother knew I had a rough day from the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen. Not only did this alert my family that I was most likely going to be stressed, but it also helped ease my nerves. Baking using my own two hands allows me to release anxiety through something productive and delicious.

We are the last generation who will be able to hear Holocaust speakers in person. And then there will only be videos, and soon, only memories. Let us hope that their memories are enough.
