Japantown in Times of COVID Photo Essay
This weekend, I captured a surreal trip to Japantown. The mall was busier than I expected, but the realities of the pandemic were on full display. There was no indoor dining, and people stayed six feet apart at all times. With that said, it was still a fun outing & I encourage you to visit! Japantown, a historical neighborhood made up of mostly small stores and eateries, has faced many struggles during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that San Francisco has allowed local businesses to reopen, many people are visiting the neighborhood again.
