Each September, SHC hosts an annual Walkathon in Golden Gate Park to raise funds for school renovations, such as the creation of our library and upper-atrium classroom. Students and faculty take the day off of school to walk together in the park, spending time in the fresh air. The event concludes with a shared lunch at Lindley Meadows, which is such a joyous experience for our SHC community. This year, the Walkathon’s theme was “Beach,” and many SHC community members, especially those on Student Council, enjoyed participating in the spirit of the event! Here are some captures from this year’s Walkathon!
